Bardstown High School Wins State
Drama Festival

December 15, 2005

Bowling Green, Ky. - Bardstown High School placed first in the 2005 State Drama Festival at Western Kentucky University.

Bethlehem High School was second and Daviess County High School was third in the Dec. 14 competition. Five schools competed in the event sponsored by the Kentucky High School Speech League, Inc.

Lauren Smith of Bardstown High School and Emma Lee Smith of Barren County High School were selected as the two Top Actors.

The following students were recognized as All-Star Cast Members:

Adam Drury and Callie Hanks, Anderson County High School

Blake Worthington and Melissa Gilliland, Daviess County High School

Felicity Stinson, Barren County High School

Joe Gunning and Katie Greenwell, Bethlehem High School

Tony Nathan, Bardstown High School
