WKU Junior Selected For Summer
Research Program

April 25, 2005

Bowling Green, Ky. - A Western Kentucky University sociology major has been selected for a National Science Foundation research program.

Trevor Angle, a junior from Columbia, Tenn., will participate in the NSF-funded Research Experiences for Undergraduates program this summer at the University of Louisville.

In the 10-week program, she will design and conduct her own research project related to the merger of Louisville and Jefferson County governments.

During this program, she will work one-on-one with a faculty mentor concerning her project; participate in methodology and statistics workshops, team meetings and colloquia; independently gather and analyze her data; use the data analysis to complete a peer reviewed paper; and deliver the paper in a professional-style presentation to peers.
