Bowling Green, Ky. - The 2004 Talisman, Western Kentucky University's yearbook, is a finalist for a national Pacemaker Award.
The Talisman is one of 14 finalists selected by the Associated Collegiate Press. Awards will be presented at the group's annual convention Oct. 29 in New Orleans.
J. Michael Moore, a senior news editorial major from Franklin, Tenn., was editor of the 2004 Talisman. Katie Clark, a junior public relations major from Bowling Green, was design editor and Josh McCoy, a photojournalism graduate from Bowling Green, was photo editor.
Brittney Ford, an English and allied language arts graduate from Nashville, was assignments editor. Liz Griffin, a public relations graduate from Louisville, and Summer Bolton, a senior advertising major from Bowling Green, were marketing directors. Bob Adams is the adviser and Jackie Bretz is assistant adviser.
