Golf Classic To Establish Entrepreneurial Fund To Be Announced At Friday Morning Press Conference

Bowling Green, Ky. - Officials from Western Kentucky University, the Barren River Area Development District and others will announce plans for a golf classic to support a fund to help start-up businesses in the BRADD area.

The news conference will be at 9 a.m. Friday in the lobby of Mass Media and Technology Hall at Western. Speakers will include Bob Jefferson, dean of the Gordon Ford College of Business at Western; WKU President Gary Ransdell; state Sen. Richie Sanders, an economic development specialist at BRADD; and Bowling Green businessman David Garvin.
