Three Special Events Planned
At WKU Sept. 22

Bowling Green, Ky. - Three special events are scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 22, at Western Kentucky University.

At 9 a.m., President Gary Ransdell and State Treasurer Jonathan Miller will recognize members of the first freshman class at WKU to pay for their education with KAPT, Kentucky's Affordable Prepaid Tuition. At 9 a.m., the Bowling Green Regional College Fair will begin at Diddle Arena. Students from area high schools will visit with representatives from dozens of colleges and universities. For information, contact Admissions at (270) 745-2551.

At 10:15 a.m., Bill Samuels Jr., president and CEO of Maker's Mark Distillery, will make a presentation on "The Business of Maker's Mark" as part of his visit to campus as a Hays Watkins Visiting CEO Executive Professor.
