18 Students Compete For 2004 October 15, 2004 The winner will be crowned during halftime of next Saturday's (Oct. 23) Homecoming football game against Indiana State. The game begins at 4 p.m. at L.T. Smith Stadium. The theme for this year's Homecoming is "Big Red's Birthday Bash" to celebrate the WKU mascot's 25th birthday. This year's queen candidates include: Elizabeth Anne Au, a senior communications studies and political science major from Evansville, Ind. She is the daughter of Dennis and Marcia Au and is sponsored by Sigma Kappa and Farmhouse. Jana Clayton, a senior communication disorders major from Tell City, Ind. She is the daughter of Harvey and Lisa Clayton and is sponsored by Alpha Omicron Pi and Phi Delta Theta. Natasha Krystal DeJarnett, a senior biology and chemistry major from Georgetown. She is the daughter of Wyteria and Zack DeJarnett and is sponsored by National Pan-Hellenic Council. Sabrina Green, a senior sociology and anthropology major from Gallatin, Tenn. She is the daughter of Chris and Denise Green and is sponsored by Baptist Student Union. Ashley Michelle Hopper, a senior elementary education major from Central City. She is the daughter of Tony Hopper and Jennifer Vincent and is sponsored by Omega Phi Alpha. Patti Johnson, a senior corporate communications major from Marion. She is the daughter of Jim and Amy Johnson and is sponsored by Kappa Delta and Sigma Alpha Epsilon. Whitney LeGrand, a senior agriculture and communications studies major from Warsaw.
