WKU Student Wins Leadership November 12, 2004 Lovan will graduate in May with a degree in corporate and organizational communication and a certificate in leadership studies. Alpha Omicron Pi honors five women each year for their leadership involvement within the organization, campus and community. Lovan has been involved in numerous organizations at Western Kentucky University. She is the vice president for public relations of the Student Government Association and serves as a WKU Spirit Master. Her volunteer experience includes the Medical Center 10K, Arthritis Foundation, Historic Homes of Bowling Green and the Clark County Humane Association. Located in Brentwood, Tenn., Alpha Omicron Pi has chapters in 33 states and three Canadian provinces.
