Online Version Of WKU Student
Paper Finalist For Pacemaker

Bowling Green, Ky. - The online version of Western Kentucky University's student newspaper is a finalist for a national Pacemaker award.

The College Heights Herald's online version (wkuherald.com) is one of 25 finalists in the 2004 Associated Collegiate Press Online Pacemaker contest. Lee Fisher, a Mayfield sophomore, was this year's online editor.

Pacemaker winners will be announced during the National College Media Convention Nov. 4-7 in Nashville, Tenn.

The 2003 Talisman, WKU's yearbook, also is a finalist for a national Pacemaker.

Entries in the newspaper competition are due in June. The Herald has won 10 national Pacemakers.
