WKU, National City Award
Incentive Scholarships

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University and National City today announced the four recipients of the National City Harman and Potter Incentive Scholarships for 2004.

The four-year renewable tuition scholarships are designated for a graduating senior in each of the four high schools in Bowling Green and Warren County. The scholarships were first awarded in the fall of 1989.

The recipients were recognized at a news conference by WKU President Gary Ransdell and National City President Rick Seadler. They are:

*Michael Scott Doyel of Bowling Green High School. He is the son of Scott and Kim Doyel and plans to major in pre-medicine.

*Tiffany Brooke Newton of Warren Central High School. She is the daughter of Kim Newton Epley and plans to major in nursing.

*Jennifer Tara Powell of Warren East High School. She is the daughter of Deborah K. Powell and plans to major in music education.

*Dustin Allen Vincent of Greenwood High School. His guardians are Robert and Sherri Taylor and he plans to major in computer science.
