To Offer Etiquette Camp

Bowling Green, Ky. - Want your child to learn proper etiquette and other social skills? Western Kentucky University's Continuing Education can help.

EttiCamp, a four-day etiquette camp for boys and girls ages 8 to 12, is scheduled June 14-17 at WKU's South Campus. Activities will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 11:30 a.m. each day.

The hands-on camp will build self-esteem and character as children improve social skills in areas that include social and communication skills, handshaking, eye contact, introductions, polite conversation, telephone etiquette, public speaking, thank you note writing and dining. Special guests will include WKU Football Coach David Elson and a member of the WKU Lady Topper basketball coaching staff presenting information on sportsmanship.

EttiCamp will be presented by Jennifer Shahan, founder and director of Shahan Etiquette. Cost for EttiCamp is $175 per child. Registration deadline is June 1.
