Bowling Green, Ky. - Sculptor Gabriel Warren will give a slide presentation and discussion at Western Kentucky University March 17. The presentation will begin at 3 p.m. in room 156 of the Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center.

Warren, the son of author/poet Robert Penn Warren, said the presentation is part of a trip to show his children the area where his father was raised. Robert Penn Warren was born in Guthrie, Ky., in Todd County.

"I generally leave my family out of my professional work, but this is relevant," Gabriel Warren said. He said he is exploring parallels between his family patterns and those of his parents and how they help structure the way he approaches his work as a landscape sculptor.

The presentation is free and open to the public. A reception will follow.
