WKU Yearbook Finalist For
National Pacemaker Award

Bowling Green, Ky. - The Talisman, Western Kentucky University's yearbook, is a finalist for a national Pacemaker award.
Pacemaker winners will be announced in November at the ACP/CMA National College Media Convention in Nashville, Tenn.
Stephanie Gladney was editor of the 2003 Talisman, the University's first yearbook in six years. Gladney graduated in May and is a designer at the Lexington Herald-Leader.
Other Pacemaker yearbook finalists are from Ouachita Baptist University, University of Miami, Berry College, Moody Bible Institute, Indiana University, University of Evansville, Kansas State University, University of Michigan, Northwest Missouri State University, University of Oklahoma, Oklahoma Baptist University, Southern Methodist University and James Madison University.
On March 19, the 2003 Talisman will receive either a Gold Crown or Silver Crown in awards presented by the Columbia Scholastic Press Association in New York City.
