Bowling Green, Ky. - Three Western Kentucky University students have been chosen for the Canadian Parliament Internship Program.

Students selected for the five-week program in Ottawa are Matthew Garmon, a senior pre-law history major from Marrowbone; Timothy Howard, a junior English major from Florence; and Heather Randolph, a senior journalism major from London.

Beginning in mid-May, each student will work in the office of a member of the Canadian Parliament.

Since 1998, Dr. James Baker, a WKU history professor, has directed the program that selects about 20 interns from about a dozen universities.
