Check Presentation Planned At
Hispanic Resource Center

Bowling Green, Ky. - U.S. Sen. Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.), WKU President Gary Ransdell and others will participate in a special ceremony Wednesday (March 17) at Bowling Green's Hispanic Resource Center.
Sen. McConnell will present a check for $700,000 in federal earmarked appropriations that will be used by Western Kentucky University's Institute for Rural Health Development and Research, in cooperation with the South Central Kentucky Area Health Education Center, to develop health-related programs to serve the region's Hispanic population.
The ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Hispanic Resource Center, 213 E. 12th St.
