Feature Local Restaurants

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University's public television service, WKYU-PBS, will be featuring local restaurants in a new series.
"Dinner Cruise" is a fun-filled taste tour of family-owned restaurants in southcentral Kentucky. Scheduled to premiere on WKYU-PBS in March of 2005, the program will feature some of the many great dining destinations throughout the region. From breakfast at Murray's in Bowling Green, to lunch at Roy's Pit Bar-B-Que in Russellville, to dinner at DiFabio's in Madisonville, you'll see the countryside and enjoy some of the local flavor as this show visits nine unique eateries.
The "Dinner Cruise" production crew will be at two area restaurants on July 15 and 16. On July 15, the crew will be at the Sage Garden in Smiths Grove from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. On July 16, they will be at the Pine Knob Diner near Caneyville from 1 p.m. to 9 p.m. The public is invited to come out and tell why these restaurants are the places to eat.
