WKU To Offer Social Work June 04 , 2004 These programs, directed toward Social Workers and Licensed Professional Counselors will be held in Hopkinsville, Bowling Green, Glasgow and Owensboro. Two types of programs are being offered: "It Really Is a Small World: Common Rural Ethical Dilemmas" and "Implementing the Metaphoric Interaction Model to Discuss Cultural Diversity and Gender." The fees are $88 for the Ethics program and $91 for the Metaphor program. Each program is three continuing education contact hours and will be held from 8:30 a.m. to noon. The Kentucky Boards of Social Work and Licensed Professional Counselors have approved both courses being offered. Approved programs that will be held this fall include "Leaving a Legacy: Integrity Versus Despair" and a six-hour program on Assessment.
