WKU DELO, UK Extension June 28, 2004 Area students will learn the answers to those questions and more next month at a Farm Camp sponsored by Western Kentucky University's Division of Extended Learning and Outreach and the University of Kentucky Cooperative Extension Service. The farm camp, for children ages 8-12, is scheduled from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. July 19 and 20 at the WKU's L.D. Brown Agricultural Exposition Center. The camp is open to children in Warren and surrounding counties. The cost is $25. Participants in the camp will tour the WKU farm and Chaney's Dairy Farm; see and touch farm animals such as cattle, goats, poultry and horses; ride horses; plant seeds; and learn about fruits, vegetables, aquaculture, bees and grains.
