WKU Art Students Honored
In Poster Design Competition

Bowling Green, Ky. - Five Western Kentucky University art students have been honored in a worldwide poster design contest.
The Humane Society of the United States announced the U.S. winners in the second annual Design Against Fur competition, sponsored by The Fur Free Alliance.
WKU students receiving honorable mention awards were Michael Wilkerson and Stacy Hayes, both of Bowling Green, and Jordan Carey of Lawrenceburg. Receiving special judges recognitions were Matthew Wilson of Bowling Green and Rapheal Heltsley of White Plains.
The five students participated in the international competition as part of their advanced studies in the WKU art department's graphic design program.
