WKU Announces Fall Social
Work Continuing Ed Programs

Bowling Green, Ky. - The Continuing Education office at Western Kentucky University will offer social work continuing education programs throughout the region this fall.
These programs, directed toward social workers and licensed professional counselors, will be held in Hopkinsville, Bowling Green, Glasgow and Owensboro. The Kentucky boards of Social Work and Licensed Professional Counselors have approved all courses being offered.
The programs include: "Leaving a Legacy: Integrity versus Despair"; "Implementing the Metaphoric Interaction Model to Discuss Cultural Diversity and Gender"; and "Finding Out What's Going On: Use of Non-traditional Communication in Assessment."
The fees for the courses are legacy, $88; assessment, $189; and metaphor, $91. The legacy and metaphor programs are three continuing education contact hours and the assessment course is six.
