Two Receive John Holland/
Fruit Of The Loom Scholarships

Bowling Green, Ky. - Two Western Kentucky University students have received John Holland/Fruit of the Loom Scholarships.
The scholarships were awarded to:
Matthew Ryan Maresca, a freshman undecided major from Bowling Green. He is the son of Julie and the late Joseph Maresca and is a 2004 graduate of Warren Central High School. Matt's father, Joseph, was employed at the Fruit of the Loom-Bowling Green Corporate Headquarters.
Brandon Lee Cummings, a sophomore undecided major from Bowling Green. He is the son of Jim and Cathy Cummings and is a 2003 graduate of Warren Central High School. Brandon's father, Jim, is employed at the Fruit of the Loom-Bowling Green Corporate Headquarters.
Each scholarship covers in-state tuition and is awarded to honor John B. Holland, president and chief operating officer, for his leadership and service at Fruit of the Loom for more than 40 years. Dependant children of Fruit of the Loom employees, who are enrolled full-time at Western Kentucky University and have a 2.7 cumulative GPA, are eligible to apply for the scholarship award.
