Honor High School Scholars

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University and South Central Bank of Glasgow Wednesday honored 24 seniors from five area high schools for their academic achievements.
The annual High School Scholars Luncheon honors high school seniors who qualify for at least a renewable full-tuition scholarship to WKU. This year's group has an average ACT composite score of 28.2 and grade-point average of 3.937. It includes 12 Governor's Scholars.
The students honored included:
From Barren County High School: Mary Beals, Mattea Carver, Haley Ford, Autumn Harbison, Kelly Headrick, Richard McClard and Margaret Proffitt.
From Caverna High School: Devon Bledsoe and Jerrica Whitlow.
From Glasgow High School: Shane Byrne, Michael Eisenstein, Jessica Huber, Robert Miller, Jimmy Mortimer, Kristin Pruitt and Micah Wilkins.
From Metcalfe County High School: Amber Bell, Joshua Hammer, Casey Humes and Chandra Jones.
From Monroe County High School: John Michael Carter, Randy Cleary, Robert Hume and Justin Tooley.
