60 High School Scholars

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University and National City today honored 60 high school seniors from Bowling Green and Warren County for their academic achievements.
The seniors honored at the annual High School Scholars Luncheon all qualify for at least a renewable full-tuition scholarship to Western. They included students from Bowling Green, Greenwood, Warren Central and Warren East high schools.
As a group, the seniors have an average grade-point average of 3.91 and an average ACT score of 28.15. The group includes 18 Governor's Scholars and two National Merit Semifinalists.

From Bowling Green: Hidenori Araki, Alexia Ault, Kendra Cowherd, Mary Bess DuBose, Natasha France, Brent Hippler, Seth Hulsey, Bennett Jackson, Erin Newman, Hannah Nicks, Katie Pfohl, Elizabeth Salmon, Justin Sloss, Rachel Smith, Tim Somerville, Curtis Sullivan and Rabelle Talreja.
From Greenwood: Taylor Baldwin, Nathan Belt, Lindsay Betterman, Justin Brandt, Wesley Brown, Ann Callaham, William Cannon, Andrew Chang, Ashley Comstock, D.J.
