Coming Home, Lady Topper Reunion, February 04, 2004 The Western Kentucky University Alumni Association has three events for you this month a Lady Topper reunion, Coming Home 2004 and a 1970s Decade Reunion. Former Lady Toppers will meet at 5 p.m. for a tour of renovated Diddle Arena. A reunion room for fans will open at 6 p.m. in Diddle's Hall of Champions. This year's Lady Topper team will tip off against Arkansas State at 7 p.m. At halftime, all former Lady Toppers will be recognized and the 1974 team and 1989 Sun Belt Conference championship team will be honored. Former Hilltopper players, coaches and managers will meet at 2 p.m. in the Hall of Champions. A reunion room for fans will open at 3 p.m. The Hilltoppers will face Florida International at 4 p.m. This year's seniors will be honored in Senior Day recognition at 3:50 p.m. At halftime, all former Toppers will be recognized along with five championship anniversary teams: 1934 SIAA and KIAC champions, 1939 SIAA and KIAC champions, 1949 OVC champions, 1954 OVC champions and 1994 Sun Belt Conference champions. Hilltopper coach Darrin Horn was a member of the 1994 team. A dance featuring Skip Bond and the Fugitives will begin at 7 p.m. in the Diddle Arena Auxiliary Gym.
