Bowling Green, Ky. - Three Western Kentucky University students killed in an auto accident on Saturday will be remembered in a memorial service on Friday.

Rachel Blevins, 19, of Oakland, Ky.; Katie Jeter, 19, of Franklin, Tenn.; and Rachel Cate, 18, of Nashville, were killed Saturday morning in a one-vehicle accident on I-65 near Upton, Ky. Two students, Jessica L. Sutton, 19, of Hendersonville, Tenn., and Cara Wright, 18, of Germantown, Tenn., were injured and taken to Hardin Memorial Hospital.

All five were freshmen at Western and members of Phi Mu sorority. They were traveling to a state-wide sorority conference in Louisville when Blevins' SUV apparently hit a slick spot on the road and hit a rock wall.

The memorial service will begin at 6 p.m. in Van Meter Auditorium. Western will be working with members of Phi Mu as well as representatives from the sorority's national office to develop the program.
