Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University's public television service, WKYU-PBS, is continuing its tour of local restaurants that will be featured in a new series.

"Dinner Cruise" is a fun-filled taste tour of family-owned restaurants in southcentral Kentucky. Scheduled to premiere on WKYU-PBS in March 2005, the program will feature some of the many great dining destinations throughout the region. From breakfast at Murray's in Bowling Green, to lunch at Roy's Pit Bar-B-Que in Russellville, to dinner at DiFabio's Casapela in Madisonville, you'll see the countryside and enjoy some of the local flavor as this show visits nine unique eateries.

The "Dinner Cruise" production crew will be at three area restaurants Aug. 5-12. On Aug. 5, the crew will visit the Sage Garden Restaurant in Smiths Grove at 10 a.m. On Friday, Aug. 6, the crew will be in Madisonville to visit DiFabio's Casapela at 3 p.m. On Aug. 12, the crew will visit Beaver Dam Café at 10 a.m.

The public is invited to come out and tell why these restaurants are the places to eat.
