Bowling Green, Ky. - Come experience the zoo without cages at this month's Reading Rainbow storytime, sponsored by WKYU-PBS and Barnes & Noble.

At 3 p.m. Aug. 21, Jeff Reed of the Bowling Green Chamber Orchestra will read aloud "Zin! Zin! Zin! a Violin" by Lloyd Moss. The whimsical book takes readers through a musical menagerie of instruments and fun.

Following the storytime reading, Reed will demonstrate various stringed instruments, allowing children hands-on experience with a violin and cello.
