Prospective Students

Bowling Green, Ky. - Prospective students and their parents can see what Western Kentucky University has to offer during upcoming preview days on campus or open house events in the region.
The first of four Focus on Western programs is scheduled for Sept. 11. The day's activities, which begin with registration at 8 a.m. at Smith Stadium, include informational sessions, campus tours and an academic expo. The day concludes with the WKU vs. Concord (W.Va.) football game at 7 p.m.
Additional Focus on Western programs are scheduled for Oct. 2, Nov. 13 and Feb. 19. College Preview and Transitions Day, a campus preview day for African-American students, is scheduled for Oct. 30.
Western students, alumni, faculty and staff will be taking a part of the Hill to prospective students and their parents during annual open houses. The schedule includes:
Elizabethtown area: 6:30 p.m. EDT, Sept. 22 at Pritchard Community Center.
Evansville, Ind., area: 6:30 p.m. CST, Oct. 12 at The Petroleum Club.
Owensboro area: 6:30 p.m. CST, Oct. 19 at RiverPark Center.
Louisville area: 6:30 p.m. EST, Oct. 21 at Kentucky Derby Museum.
