WKU To Offer Human Resource
Management Program

Bowling Green, Ky. - The Division of Extended Learning and Outreach's Continuing Education is offering the SHRM Essentials of Human Resource Management Certification Program on Dec. 2 and 3.
This program, directed toward new human resource professionals or professionals who are taking on more responsibilities within the human resource field, will be held in Bowling Green at the Knicely Conference Center on Nashville Road from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. (CST).
The SHRM Essentials of Human Resource Management (EHRM) course is designed to enhance the knowledge of human resource basics. The fee for the course is $395 and includes all student materials and a Certificate of Completion. Registration deadline is Nov. 18.
Module topics include: Essentials of Human Resource Management, Employment Law in Your Workplace, Effective Recruitment and Selection Techniques, Basics of Compensation, Orienting and Training your Employees and Ensuring Quality Performance.
