WKU Debaters Selected For
Tournament Of Champions

Bowling Green, Ky. - Two members of Western Kentucky University's Forensics Team have been selected to participate in a prestigious parliamentary debate tournament in February.
Senior Jennifer Purcell of Lewisville, Texas, and sophomore Joelle Perry of Florence, Ky., will compete in the Point Loma Round Robin Tournament of Champions Feb. 4 in San Diego.
Purcell and Perry will be among 20 of the nation's top parliamentary debate teams competing in the event. They were selected for the tournament based on the strength of their debate record, their academic credentials, and reputation in the debate community.
