Author To Give Insight Into
College Admissions

Bowling Green, Ky. - Parents, students, and teachers can gain insight into the college admissions process by attending a seminar on the college hunt at Western Kentucky University.
Jill VonGruben, author of "College Countdown: The Parent's and Student's Survival Kit for the College Admissions Process," will speak at 6 p.m. Sept. 2 in Media and Technology Hall Auditorium.
VonGruben will address the importance of starting early and give practical strategies for climbing the college mountain. Students in seventh to 11th grades and their parents can benefit from the seminar.
This opportunity marks the beginning of The Berta Fund for Excellence: Education Series. The free event is also sponsored by WKU's Center for Gifted Studies. Those interested in attending the seminar should contact The Center at 745-6323 or email gifted@wku.edu.
