WKU Senior Receives Phi Kappa
Phi Graduate Fellowship

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University senior Meghan Bishop has received a $5,000 graduate student fellowship from the Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi.

Bishop, a history major from Biglerville, Pa., will begin work on her master's degree in public history this fall at Indiana University-Purdue University at Indianapolis. She will graduate from WKU on May 8.

The graduate fellowship is one of 50 awarded by Phi Kappa Phi.

In 2003, Bishop was received one of 20 national Phi Kappa Phi Study Abroad $1,000 scholarships. She is the daughter of Craig and Natalie Bishop.

Founded in 1897, Phi Kappa Phi is the nation's oldest, largest and most selective all-discipline honor society and awards more than $500,000 in scholarships and awards annually to its members.
