Warren Buffett Speaks To
WKU Business Students

Bowling Green, Ky. - Warren Buffett, chairman and CEO of Berkshire Hathaway, spoke to business students and faculty Wednesday afternoon at Western Kentucky University's Van Meter Auditorium.

Buffett, the Hays Watkins Visiting CEO Professor at WKU, made remarks and answered questions from students in Western's Gordon Ford College of Business.

Buffett, 73, is the most famous investor in the United States and is known for identifying undervalued companies that he views as good investment prospects. He formed an investment partnership in 1956 and took control of Berkshire Hathaway in 1965.

Berkshire Hathaway Inc.'s business activities include insurance underwriting and a variety of manufacturing, retailing and service companies, including Fruit of the Loom.

Hays and Bettie Watkins created the visiting professorship series in 1999. Hays Watkins is a former CEO and chairman of CSX Corp. and is a graduate of Bowling Green Business University, predecessor of Western's Gordon Ford College of Business.
