WKU Hosting British Debate
Team During Communication Week

Bowling Green, Ky. - Communication Week at Western Kentucky University once again will feature a visit by the British Debate Team.
For the fourth year in a row, the British Debate Team will face members of Western's award-winning William E. Bivin Forensic Society. The debate is scheduled for 7 p.m. Nov. 3 at the Garrett Conference Center Ballroom.
"We Talk. People Listen" is the theme for Communication Week 2003. The schedule of activities includes the following:
Saturday, Nov. 1
6:30 p.m., Department of Communication dinner at Bowling Green Country Club.
Monday, Nov. 3
10 a.m., "Spinning Out of Control: Communicating in Changing Organizations" by Nigel T. Edwards, Pfizer Global Research and Development, at Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center, room 140.
11 a.m., "Leadership, Teamwork and Motivation: Sports and Communication" by WKU athletic coaches, at Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.
7 p.m., British Debate Team at Garrett Conference Center Ballroom.
Tuesday, Nov. 4
11 a.m., ROTC Team and Trust Demonstration at Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center Amphitheater.
Noon, Speakers' Corner at Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center Amphitheater.
5:30 p.m., Graduate Student Forum: Leadership Communication at Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center, room 146.
7 p.m., "Communicating with Generation Y: The Buzz Lightyear Millennium Generation" by Dr. Carley H. Dodd of Abilene Christian University at Garrett Conference Center Auditorium.
