Author Mitch Albom To Speak
At WKU On Oct. 15

Bowling Green, Ky. - Mitch Albom, a sports columnist, television commentator, radio host and best-selling author, will speak at Western Kentucky University on Oct. 15 as part of the Mary E. Hensley Lecture Series.
Albom, author of "Tuesdays with Morrie," will speak at 7 p.m. at Diddle Arena. The lecture is free and open to the public.
"Tuesdays with Morrie," which chronicled the last days of Albom's college mentor and professor Morrie Schwartz, is required reading for freshmen at Western.
Albom's newest book, "The Five People You Meet in Heaven," will be on sale at the lecture. A book signing, sponsored by Barnes & Noble Booksellers will follow.
The award-winning sports writer is host of "The Mitch Albom Show," a syndicated radio program, and is a frequent panelist on ESPN's "Sports Reporters."
Albom's visit is co-sponsored by WKU Enrollment Management and Office of Admissions, Campus Activities Board, Cultural Enhancement Committee and the School of Journalism and Broadcasting.
