Honored In National Contest

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University's student radio station was a finalist in the 2003 Collegiate Broadcasters Inc. National Student Production Awards.
WWHR-FM was one of four finalists in the category of Best Promo For Station or Student Media Outlet. Marshall University placed first. Other finalists were Colorado State University and Southwest Texas State University.
The CBI awards were presented earlier this month at the National College Media Convention in Dallas.
