Farm Safety Day Camp June 17
At WKU AG Expo Center

Bowling Green, Ky. - The ninth annual Progressive Farmer Farm Safety Day Camp is scheduled for June 17 at Western Kentucky University's L.D. Brown Agricultural Exposition Center.

The camp, for children ages 6-13, is presented by the Kentucky Partnership for Farm Family Health and Safety, Inc. Activities begin at 8:15 a.m. and end at 2:15 p.m.

Sessions include alcohol awareness, ATV safety, noise safety, fireworks safety, grain bin safety, machinery safety and sun safety.

The day camp is limited to 150 participants. A $10 fee includes lunch, snacks, safety sessions, T-shirt and goodie bag. Applications may obtained by calling 745-5872 or 745-3325 or may be picked up at the Warren County Extension Office on Nashville Road.
