WKU Students Receive
Geography And Geology Awards

Bowling Green, Ky. - The Department of Geography and Geology held its annual Student Awards Ceremony April 30.
About 20 awards for scholarship, service to the department and contributions to research were awarded to students. The department's three most prestigious awards were presented to the following:
Sarah R. Blessing Marcum of Clarksville, Tenn., the Ronald R. Dilamarta Outstanding Senior in Geography Award.
Laura M. DeMott of Greenwood, Ind., the Judson Roy Griffin Outstanding Senior in Geology Award.
Rhonda Pfaff of Louisville, the Outstanding Graduate Student in Geoscience Award. Pfaff recently began work with ESRI, a geographic information systems company in California.
