High School Seniors

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University and National City on Tuesday honored 51 high school seniors from Warren County for their high academic achievement.

Students from Bowling Green, Greenwood, Warren East and Warren Central high schools were honored during the annual High School Scholars Luncheon. All of the students qualify for at least a renewable full-tuition scholarship to WKU.

The group included 15 Governor's Scholars and seven National Merit Semifinalists; had an average grade-point average of 3.9 and an average ACT score of 28.9.

Students honored included:
From Bowling Green High School: Zachary Adams, Catherine Alexander, Lindsey Ardrey, Kalyn Bowra, Wilson Bridges, Todd Claypool, Heather Cowherd, Kelli Geegan, Caitlin Johnson, Chad Martin, Caitlin McGill, Benjamin Murphy, Daren Neel, Chastity Palmer, William Pasley, Michael Petty, Sarina Sahetya, Vicki Thompson, Jacqueline Verst, Ryan Wermling and Justin Withrow.

From Greenwood High School: Adam Brown, Thomas Bullen, Laura Colbert, Katie Daniel, Andrea Fitzpatrick, Jacqueline Hunt, Lou-Anne Kirby, Rachelle Leckie, Jonathan Merkling, Tyler Miller, Joanna Miller, Anna Polen, Ryan Proctor, Jenny Read and Brian Troyer.

From Warren Central High School: Katrina Carpenter, Tim Evans, Richard Hartsock, Ines Kevric, Eric Moore, Mindy Phelps, Adam Seaton, Paige Spangler and Delton Steele.

From Warren East High School: Angela Dieball, Sarah Lawrence, Jennifer Porreca, Kruti Shah and Nathan Thompson.
