Social Security Forum Aug. 20

Bowling Green, Ky. - U.S. Rep. Ron Lewis and Atlanta Deputy Regional Commissioner Ron Tysinger will be the keynote speakers for a Social Security summer forum next week at Western Kentucky University's South Campus.

"Ticket to Work" is the theme of the daylong forum Aug. 20 at the Carroll Knicely Conference Center. Registration begins at 8 a.m. with sessions beginning at 8:45 a.m.

Workshop sessions will focus on the Social Security and Medicare Trust Fund; the basics of Social Security, Medicare and Supplemental Security Income; Medicare and Medicaid resources; saving for retirement; preventing fraud and abuse; and a work incentive opportunity for the disabled.
