Wins Advertising Awards

Bowling Green, Ky. - The advertising staff of Western Kentucky University's student newspaper was honored at a national conference last weekend in Miami.
The College Heights Herald received three awards at the 31st annual conference of CNBAM (College Newspaper Business and Advertising Managers).
The Herald received best in category for newspaper promotion campaign, second place for best training program and third place for best electronic banner house ad.
"All awards are a team effort and I am proud of all the current staff who helped make this such a successful year for the advertising department," said John Tebault, advertising manager.
Nine WKU students who work on the newspaper's client and creative services teams along with two advisers attended the conference.
