WKU Graduate Named Newspaper
Photographer Of The Year

Bowling Green, Ky. - Rick Loomis, a 1994 graduate of Western Kentucky University, has been named Newspaper Photographer of the Year by the National Press Photographers Association.
Loomis, who is covering the war in Iraq for the Los Angeles Times, was honored this week in the Best of Photojournalism 2003 contest.
