WKU To Host International
Business Ethics Forum April 30

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University's Office of Global Business will host an international business ethics forum April 30 at the South Campus.
The forum, which is scheduled for 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Carroll Knicely Institute for Economic Development, is designed to stress the importance of ethical behavior among executives and create an ethical environment throughout the organizational structure, according to William Parsons, director of the Office of Global Business.
Featured presenters and their topics are Larry Wilcher, partner in Wyatt, Tarrant and Combs law firm and former general counsel for Dollar General Corp., on "Corporate Social Responsibility - The Globalization of Business Ethics"; Philip Hughes, vice president of customs for United Parcel Service, on "Customs Integrity - A Significant Non-Tariff Trade Barrier"; and Larry Eisenberg, international attorney for Melvyn B. Frumkes and Associates of Miami, on "The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act - How American Companies Doing Business Abroad Survive It."
Dr. Brian Sullivan, associate professor of management, will serve as moderator.
The fee is $95 for business/professional attendees and $75 for WKU faculty/staff. Proceeds will support a student scholarship for a study abroad program.
