Paducah Junior New President
Of WKU's Student Government

Bowling Green, Ky. - John Bradley, a Paducah junior, has been elected president of Western Kentucky University's Student Government Association for 2003-04.
Bradley, who was unopposed, received 1,662 votes in online balloting. He will serve as the student representative on WKU's Board of Regents.
In the race for executive vice president, Marion junior Patti Johnson defeated Dana Lockhart, a junior from Hendersonville, Tenn., 1,185 to 685.
Jessica Martin, a Bulan sophomore, was elected vice president for administration. Martin received 1,056 votes to 686 for Shawn Peavie, a Monticello sophomore.
Two other candidates were unopposed. Nick Todd, a Henderson sophomore, received 1,661 votes for vice president of finance. Abby Lovan, a sophomore from Jeffersonville, Ind., received 1,694 votes for vice president of public relations.
WKU students also supported a proposal for a $3 increase in student fees to generate revenue for WWHR, the student radio station. The referendum passed 1,066 to 765.
