November 13, 2002 Group Honors WKU Vice President Dr. Tice, a past president of SACSA, received the Melvene Draheim Hardee Award earlier this month at the group's annual meeting in Biloxi, Miss. The award, named for one of the most outstanding educators in the field of higher education, is the highest honor an individual can receive in the field of student affairs in the South. The Southern Association for College Student Affairs is a leading Southern regional professional association for those engaged in college student affairs work and has more than 700 members in 15 states and the District of Columbia.
