WKU Modern Languages Program
To Honor Students

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University's Modern Languages program will honor about 45 students next week at its third annual Foreign Language Awards Ceremony.

The program will begin at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 4, in the Ivan Wilson Fine Arts Center Recital Hall.
A reception will follow in the art gallery.

Students will be honored for various achievements at all levels of language learning, from first semester through senior-level courses, according to Dr. Linda Pickle, head of the Department of Modern Languages and Intercultural Studies.

Last year more than 100 family and friends of the students attended the ceremony and reception.
