WKU Faculty Members To Attend
Geographers Meeting
Bowling Green, Ky. - Faculty from Western Kentucky University's Department of Geography and Geology will attend this month's 57th Annual Meeting of the Southeastern Division of the Association of American Geographers.
The meeting, scheduled for Nov. 23-26 in Richmond, Va., annually brings together one of the largest concentrations of geographers in the Southeast and is a regional showcase for the research conducted by geographers at Western Kentucky University, according to Dr. David Keeling, department head.
Katie Algeo will present research titled "Mammoth Cave and the Making of Place" and Dr. Rezaul Mahmood will present research titled "An Analysis of Simulated Point Soil Moisture for Three Land Uses under Contrasting Hydroclimatic Conditions in the Northern Great Plains."
