WKU Honored At National
FFA Convention
Bowling Green, Ky. - The National FFA Organization recently honored Western Kentucky University for

its support as a five-year exhibitor at the FFA National Agricultural Career Show.
The 37th annual career show, held at the Kentucky Fair and Exposition Center in Louisville as part of the 75th National FFA Convention, highlights career opportunities for agricultural students.
Jack Pitzer, career show manager, presented a plaque to WKU agriculture student Brandon Duffer in recognition of WKU's five years of participation. Duffer is a junior from Greenbrier, Tenn.
More than 320 exhibitors, representing agribusiness, universities and industry associations, showcased the diversity of agriculture and related fields during the Oct. 30-Nov. 1 event. Nearly 50,000 FFA members, advisers and others attended the convention and career show.
