WKU Senior Receives PHI KAPPA PHI
Award Of Excellence

Bowling Green, Ky. - A Western Kentucky University senior has been awarded a Phi Kappa Phi Award of Excellence for the 2002-03 academic year.

Luke Harlow, a history major from Bethlehem, Pa., will receive $1,500 to aid in his pursuit of a doctorate in history.

Founded in 1897, Phi Kappa Phi is the oldest and largest national honor society dedicated to the recognition and promotion of academic excellence in all fields of higher education.

Selection for the Phi Kappa Phi Award of Excellence is based on applicants' undergraduate academic performance; leadership and service in the community and on campus; evidence of graduate potential; personal statement of educational perspective, purpose and objectives; and evaluation reports from three individuals.
