WKU Student Receives Scholarship

Bowling Green, Ky. - A Western Kentucky University student from Owensboro has received a $1,000 scholarship from the Radio and Television News Directors Foundation.
Brandon Bratcher, a junior geography and geology major and broadcasting minor, received the Jim Byron Undergraduate Scholarship. The scholarship is named for Byron, a well-respected reporter and news director in Fort Worth, Texas, and eighth president of the Radio and Television News Directors Association.
Bratcher will be formally recognized at the RTNDA International Conference in Las Vegas in April.
