WKU, National City Bank Honor
55 High School Seniors

Bowling Green, Ky. - Western Kentucky University and National City Bank honored 55 high school seniors from Bowling Green and Warren County schools Wednesday for their academic achievements.

The students received certificates and scholarship offers during the annual High School Honors Luncheon. All of the students qualify for at least a full-tuition Regents Scholarship at WKU.

As a group, the students had an average grade-point average of 3.847 and an average ACT score of 28.74. The group included 19 Kentucky Governor’s Scholars and six National Merit Semifinalists.

The students honored included:

From Bowling Green: Stephen Beville, Devon Broughman-Scott, Dena Broughman-Scott, Rachel Byrne, William Carraco, Megan Dorris, Ashley Long, Amanda Love, Brandy Page, Robert Parrish, Eric Salmon, Robert Smith, Lauren Smith, Karl Swanson, Eric Todd and Evan Walker.

From Greenwood: Matthew Bitner, Karly Bjarnson, Jennifer Bolton, Jonathan Canler, Jessica Carmichael, Christopher Conner, Emily Gries, Jeff Herron, Grant Johnson, Andrew Lindsey, Melissa Litchfield, Sandy McCoy, Lisa Mobley, Desiree Mullen, Oriaku Njoku, Stephen Pickering, Shana Ritter, Jyoti Sahi, Duncan Seagle, Bridgette Starks, Ashley Traylor, Nao Urushibata and Laura Vilines.

From Warren Central: Ann-Alan Callahan, Alison Carlyle, Johnathan Cline, Patrick Edmundson, Tamara Evans, Laura Ford, Melinda Lalonde, Ashley Schonhoff, Allison Smith and Sarah Weakley.

From Warren East: Keri Gregory, Belinda Lady, Jacob Sumner, Monalisa Tailor, Courtney Taylor and Shariya Terrell.
